HGTV rounded up a list of 40 of the most charming small towns in the country, and York made the list.

HGTV rounded up a list of 40 of the most charming small towns in the country, and congratulations York, you made the list.

In its wide-ranging list of small towns across the country, HGTV highlighted vibrant towns that invite guests in and encourage them to stay and explore.

York’s travel-worthy mentions included its factory tours: the Harley-Davidson Factory and soap-making experiences at downtown York’s Sunrise Soap Company, and the craftsmanship that goes into making violins at Bluett Bros. Violins.

And no trip to York would be complete with a visit to Central Market York, which HGTV highlights as “a morning must for a cuppa coffee and Amish pastries.”

It also mentions activities for the family, including visiting cows and baby calves at Perrydell Farm and Dairy, just a 15-minute drive from downtown.
